What are laser welding cells? 

Laser welding cells are automated systems that make use of laser technology to weld materials such as metal, plastic, ceramics and many other materials.

A highly powerful laser is used in a laser welding cell to generate a highly concentrated beam of light, which is directed onto a specific area. This beam of light fuses the materials being machined, forming a strong and durable joint.

Laser welding cells are extensively used in several industries, such as the automotive, aeronautics and electronics industries and in machinery manufacturing. 

They are highly regarded for their precision, working speed and ability to weld very thin materials without damaging them.

Compared to other welding methods, this processing method ensures a lower heat input. This means that there is less distortion in the welding zone and less excess material being produced in the machined area.
